Eley Guild Hardy Architects announces the promotion of Kyle Kish to Principal. Kyle, a native of Indialantic, FL, originally joined Eley Guild Hardy Architects as a Co-op Student in 1999 and returned after graduating with his Bachelors of Architecture from Mississippi State University in 2002. In the late 2000’s, he left the Mississippi Gulf Coast to focus on retail design in Birmingham, AL and later returned to Eley Guild Hardy Architects as a Project Manager.
Kyle has amassed a variety of experience in federal, military, institutional and sustainable design work and is a LEED Accredited Professional with over a dozen LEED certified buildings to his credit. During his career, he has been actively involved in the Birmingham and Mississippi Chapters of AIA (American Institute of Architects) and Alabama and Mississippi Chapters of the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). Kyle is a recent graduate of the 2013-2014 class of Leadership Gulf and has been featured as a Master of Design by Portico Jackson. Kyle currently resides in Gulfport, MS with his wife Shelley and two children, Sarah and Neal. Kyle and his family are members of St. James Catholic Church.
Notable examples of Kyle’s work throughout the southeast include the Maneuver Battle Laboratory at Fort Benning, GA; Air Force Central Command Headquarters at Shaw AFB, SC; Bachelors Enlisted Quarters on Corry Field at Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL and a New Library and Education Center at Fort Polk, LA. Kyle has also worked on various projects for our local bases including Stennis Space Center, Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, Combat Readiness Training Center Gulfport, Keesler Air Force Base and Veteran Affairs Medical Center Biloxi. As a Principal of Eley Guild Hardy Architects, Kyle will continue to focus on military and federal projects throughout Mississippi and the rest of the southeast.
