Immersive Media Performing Arts Center (iMPAC)

The Immersive Media Performance Arts Center at the Harrison County campus provides a venue for performances, events, conferences, and meetings unlike any other venue in the region. the iMPAC is the premier performance facility on the Coast and a training ground for live-performance professionals. The state-of-the-art facility has a 1,200 seat main hall, based on Broadway specifications, with theater seating that is divided into three main sections: orchestra, parterre, and upper-level balcony. The MGCCC iMPAC also boasts a black box training theater with a sound and lighting control mezzanine, complete with a separate sound studio and recording booths. iMPAC is one of three Innovation Locations at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College campuses, including the Hospitality and Resort Management Center at Harrison County and the Estuarine Education Center at the Jackson County campus. These locations provide coastal residents and students the opportunity to experience a wide variety of cultural and recreational activities.
