Ohr-O’Keefe Museums of Art

Biloxi, Mississippi

Eley Guild Hardy served as the Executive Architect for the Ohr-O’Keefe Museums of Art. Designed by Frank O. Gehry, the celebrated architect responsible for the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum and the Disney Concert Hall, The Ohr-O’Keefe Museums is Gehry’s only project in the southeastern United States. The five stainless steel clad structures house the work of legendary potter and Mississippi Coast native, George E. Ohr, as well as a large collection of regionally and nationally important artists in the museum of African-American art and the Exhibition Gallery.
