The new School of Business for Jackson State University is a 104,740 S.F. state of the art facility which provides a new home for the Business School under one roof. The building is designed around a 5-story atrium space which creates a strong image for the school and addresses the northeast entry to the campus, while
providing a space which encourages interaction between faculty and students.

The project houses a 277 seat lecture hall, 2 large tiered classrooms, 8 tiered case rooms, 4 standard classrooms, and 4 seminar rooms. In addition to classroom space, the building also contains instructional labs, and offices for the Dean, Graduate Program, Career Services, the Center for Professional Development, Department of Accounting, Department of Economics and General Business, and the Department of Management and Marketing.

Classroom types includes one 300-seat Lecture Hall, two 120-seat Lecture Halls, four large and ten standard flat floor classrooms, as well as six 20-person seminar rooms. In addition, the project contains instructional and individual learning environments supporting each department’s curriculum. The classrooms are fitted with appropriate levels of Audio Visual equipment to support each teaching environment. New office space was provided for the following departments:
