The Engineering and Science Comples has an appearance that seamlessly fits into the campus fabric. The building will be a tool for learning where possible and the Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and other building systems will be exposed to view. Interior finishes will vary by program spaces.

Phase I was the renovation of the old dairy barn to house studio space, administration areas, a library, and classrooms. Phase II was an addition with an enlarged library, exhibition area, jury room, 200 seat auditorium, administration areas, studios and labs.

The Simulation Design Center provides expanded research facilities, and with 38 offices and additional open space, the facility accomodates over 75 reserach staff and faculty.

The three-story structure provides space for research laboratories, administrative offices, classrooms, a computer center, and an auditorium to serve the U. S. Forest Service.
