Richard A. Rula Engineering & Science Complex

Located at the corner of Hardy and Morill Road, the Richard A. Rula Engineering and Science Complex is comprised of classrooms, offices, research and chemistry labs, in addition to high-bay areas. The dedicated research and teaching labs will help support and advance the school's technical strengths in areas included but not limited to: construction, environmental, geotechnical, and structural engineering.

Initially used as the Mississippi State Library, the apse had been floored in over the years to create class room space. The apse was restored to its original appearance and now serves as Student Recruitment space for the Department of Student Affairs.

Harned Hall
Starkville, Mississippi
Originally constructed in 1921, Harned Hall, an architecturally and historically significant structure, was designated a Mississippi Landmark Building in 1990 by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. The historic integrity of Harned Hall was maintained through the refurbishment of its steel and wood windows, exterior brick and stonework, and exposed wood trusses. New steel structure was installed for exhaust fan roof loads, mechanical shaft openings, and code-compliant stairs and elevators.

The Simulation Design Center provides expanded research facilities, and with 38 offices and additional open space, the facility accomodates over 75 reserach staff and faculty.
