Troop Camp Quarters Air National Guard

Two separate dormitory buildings, which are key anchoring components of the base master plan, create visual consistency by utilizing similar design elements. The floor plan of each dorm was modified to respond to site features and constraints resulting in two distinct building configurations that harmonize with each other through the use of repetitive exterior design elements.

The Deployment Unit Processing Facility project provides the facilities to support the receiving and deploying of a Heavy Brigade size unit at Camp Shelby, MS. The facility will be used to process personnel and equipment, build and store pallets for shipment, inventories, weighing of personnel and equipment, and processing Military Shipping Labels (MSL) and Radio Frequency (RF) tags.

This contract included the design of a 55,000 SF, three-story Troop Camp Quarters to provide housing for 220 visiting aircraft trainee personnel for the AND CRTC in Gulfport. Two site adapts of this dormitory building were also completed as well as seven other rehabilitation / renovation projects and additions.
