U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigational Facility

This project included the demolition of the existing 1500 SF facility and construction of a new 5,395 square foot two-story Aids to Navigation. To reduce the building’s flooding during non-hurricane events the main spaces are located on the second floor (23'-8" above sea level) and the workshops on the first floor (10-6" above sea level). The new building includes administration spaces, mess hall, fitness room, shower and changing facilities, workshops, and boat bays. requirements for flood mitigation and hurricane force winds from a category IV hurricane.
