NCBC Bachelor Enlisted Quarters Modernization
Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS
This four-story building features an L-shaped floor plan with stand alone commons building. The 1+1 barracks design features 92 units full compliance with all antiterrorism and force protection requirements including building setbacks and a concrete frame designed with structural redundancy to resist progressive collapse. In addition to the sleeping modules, common support space such as electrical rooms, bulk storage, communications room, mechanical rooms, janitor closets, etc. have been provided. Four of the 92 sleeping modules (eight total bedrooms) are designed as handicap accessible units. Each sleeping module features two bedrooms, a common kitchenette and bathroom, as well as walk-in closets in each bed room

NAS Bachelor Enlisted Quarters
Naval Air Station, Atlanta, GA
Design of two, two-story buildings, with a total of 38 unit 1+1 enhanced baracks, meet the requirements of the UFC 4-010-01 DOD minimum anti-terrorism standards for government buildings. Designed with landscaped areas, open-bench seating and a sitting pavilion, the courtyard serves as an intimate gathering space with concrete walkways to facilitate pedestrian movement and satisfies need for communal green space. An integrated design process was utilized along with LEED guidelines to optimize sustainable principles such as energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, productive and healthy indoor environment and resource conservation.

NCBC Mobilization Contingency Outfitting & Operations Center (MCOOC)
Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS
This state-of-the-art packing facility was designed to increase the readiness and ability of the Seabees of NCBC Gulfport to readily respond to rapid mobilization requirements. From sorting, storing and loading the supplies to adjusting docking and loading ramps accordingly, every aspect of this facility was designed to increase productivity and preparedness of the Seabees in shipping materials to locations around the world.

NCBC Army Reserve Warehouse Phase II
Naval Construction Batallion Center, Gulfport, MS
This warehouse has a 2,177 square foot attached administration building on one end. The warehouse portion of the facility is separated into three areas by concrete masonry units with the first bay at 40,029 square feet, the second bay at 36,800 square feet and the last bay at 40,978 square feet. The first bay contains open rack storage and is separated by a 4-hour fire wall from the other two bays. There are steel roll-up doors on each side of the center bay to connect all the spaces. One of the main goals of this project was to ensure that the facility can be easily modified and adapted to other uses.

Naval Air Station Building 633 Renovation

The design and construction of renovations to Building 633 was to provide an adequate administration building and instructional facility for military students. The primary objective was to correct deficiencies identified by annual recurring facility inspections. The priorities of this repair project were the following: roof replacement, new ceilings and lighting, new floor coverings, interior and exterior painting, renovation of the restrooms, repair/refurbish theater seating, electrical work included panel and branch circuit wiring repairs, provide dimmable lighting in classrooms, fire protection system was upgraded to provide emergency lighting and new fire sprinkler system, replacement of the existing attic insulation, repair/replace/refinish exterior and interior doors, repair damaged dentil molding, lead and asbestos work, and direct digital controls for HVAC system.

Naval Air Station Replacement of Juniper Ridge & Pinecrest Housing
Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS
This project consists of the demolition of 52 existing Capehart style housing units and the design and construction of 43 new enlisted and officer housing units located in the Pine Crest and Juniper Ridge neighborhoods. The new units consist of seven different layouts including three and four bedroom units, both single family and duplex style, including the Base Commander’s House and ADA compliant housing.

Naval Air Station Combined Structural, Aircraft Fire & Rescue Station
Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS
The project includes the design and construction of a new Fire and Rescue Station and satellite parking. The new single-story facility includes four back-to-back apparatus bays, 24-hour living quarters for up to 21 personnel, kitchen and dining areas, lounge, administrative spaces, laundry and disinfecting facilities, and an outdoor patio with landscaping.

This project provides a new facility with spaces for classrooms, conference rooms, and office/administrative space.

NCBC Armory
Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS
This ATFP compliant facility includes spaces for Category II weapons storage, as well as storage of other weapons-related items, an office, bunk rooms with showers for overnight security personnel, restrooms, and included an outdoor covered area for cleaning weapons. Additionally, the entire armory site is surrounded by security fencing.
The entire project was Sustainable Validated by NAVFAC as having met the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED-NC (New Construction) rating system for 26 credits.

NCBC Tactical Training Facility
Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS
This ATFP compliant facility provides training of students in tactics and in making them familiar with various weapons systems. It provides new classrooms, secure computer classrooms, conference rooms, instructor offices, administrative space and trainers where students will be trained in a combination of traditional and computer classrooms as well as in stationary and mobile electronic/virtual training facilities.
The entire project was Sustainable Validated by NAVFAC as having met the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED-NC (New Construction) rating system for 26 credits.

This ATFP compliant facility combined three functions into a single facility. It replaced instruction buildings for the Steelworkers Training Facility, Steelworker Training Storage Facility, Builders Applied Instruction Facility, and Training Complex at the Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) at NCBC Gulfport.
The constructed facility is extremely energy efficient and designed to meet the requirements of ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1 -2004. The entire project was Sustainable Validated by NAVFAC as having met the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED-NC (New Construction) rating system for 26 credits

NCBC Youth Center Expansion

The new Teen Center, adjacent to the existing Youth Center includes a lobby, control desk, game room, computer room, TV lounge, recreation area, and administrative offices as well as an exterior basketball court

NCBC NCR 25th Regimental Headquarters Naval Construction Battalion Center
Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS
The LEED GOLD building provides a new specialized office to house the functional space for the 25th NCR Headquarters Command and Control staff to carry out their mission. The project includes administrative offices, training spaces, a SCIF room, and a 150-seat auditorium. The facility is a two story building with a high level of security throughout and has multiple levels of access control. The space within this facility consists of a combination of private and open offices along with multiple conference and planning rooms sized to accommodate from 12 to 117 people.

Naval Air Station Corry A School BEQ

The project provides dormitory space for 332 airmen in 166 bedrooms and in 83 sleeping modules with shared bathroom and shower facilities. A small administrative area, provides office and core space for central utilities (mechanical, electrical, communications).
